I've had the thought before that if Eila were a character in a fighting game nearly all of her moves would be counters and parrys.

"Straight" loses? As if any of the witches is straight, anyway. Most are gayer than a treefull of monkeys on nitrous oxide. Or, at least, bi (Yoshika and Mio, at least).
