I'd forgotten how frickin' tiny Hachimakirin-san's Nue is. Kyouko is pretty small compared to, say, the Prismrivers, and this Nue's child-sized compared to HER.

Yeah, but that sort of problem only exists on our side of the Hakurei Barrier. Gensokyo residents don't have to worry about such annoying formalities as "physics" and "meteorology" when creating or resolving incidents.

Given how small Nue is in this strip I'm not surprised she would have such childish logic...saying that, it might work, but we wouldn't want to have Kyouko cracking the fourth wall open again and possibly letting eldritch abominations through.
