Nice. Also, Sakuya's pics should start being tagged with the "miko" tag since Sayaka's are tagged with the "nun" tag. She is a priestess, after all.

Not really. Tagging is more about what she looks like in the pic rather than what she is. Sayaka usually wears that hat thing nuns wear so the tag may be sometimes justified in her case, but Sakuya never wears anything that could be considered miko attire.

Yes and no to that. While she doesn't wear the typical miko attire obviously, she does have the red and white color scheme mikos typically wear as well as the hime cut. Not to mention the pictures where she is seen wielding the ofuda talismans and using the wand (I forgot the name of it) that mikos are often seen with.

The wand is called gohei. Anyways, the tag still doesn't apply to her, since it's for traditional clothing. Just read miko. Maybe nontraditional_miko?

    She's not a shrine maiden.

Yeah, the latter would probably be more appropriate.

@ desides - Maybe I'm mistaken, but aren't priestesses and shrine maidens essentially one in the same? Or maybe priestesses rank higher IIRC? I know her description on her has her listed as a priestess, though.

The "priestess" description comes from the Christian iconography associated with the characters of this series and their occasional use of Japanese talismans when fighting whatever latest tentacle monstrosity is inevitably going to rape them. That doesn't mean you should stretch to fit them into traditional Japanese religious roles for the sake of tagging. No one who's searching through the miko tag would expect to see this picture.
