Actually, it kind of did. In one of the artbooks, there was an alternate universe story where Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako had lookalike daughters while Usagi and Mamoru had Chibiusa and a second daughter named Kousagi.

This definitely isn't referencing that, though.
