Woah, her spine is bent almost 45 degrees, and the top of her ass is almost so horizontal you could place a glass of water on it. I know this artist likes to go crazy with anatomy and such for dramatic effect, but this is getting into Liefeld territory.

Argh, I cannot help but completely despise this character design. The angle of her spine makes my own spine hurt, and her ass and legs are stupidly large in comparison to her tiny upper body(which has gigantic breasts) I loved the character designs in Odin Sphere, but these new ones for Dragon's Crown are just ridiculous. At least the elf has a decent design.

I disagree. It's an extremely obvious stylization, they do have competent and excellent artists on their team, they just deliberately chose to draw it this way. There's nothing outright "wrong" about the way they chose to draw it, it's still on-model, just that they deliberately deformed the anatomy to draw more attention to her butt and boobs. They know what they're doing.

Also Elf is the worst.
