Well the Perfect Elegant Maid is still just a human. Meiling is not Human...as to what she is...that is the greatest question. Maybe she is in fact a God than a Youkai. That is what I think at least.

Still...I am trying to figure out how far I need to be to not feel the shock wave that will rip the planet in two once Flan and Yuuka meet blows.

That's assuming Flan figures out how she wants to kill Yuka before Remilia just up and rushes the woman in a blind, feral rage.

She's thought to be practically the same strength as Yukari. I think she's going to be fine.

Yuuka is far stronger than Yukari. Just Yuuka's physical strength alone can best both Suika and Yuugi.

The evidence for this is...? Yuuka is old and powerful, but she's nowhere near as strong as Yukari.

ahh.. the old debate of touhou's who stronger than who...

i think basically it depends on your POV, now i think i never see any real matchup of yuuka vs yukari (in ZUN's works) since both never appear in the same game CMMIW...

but judging from their abilities, both excels in different aspect one is yuuka seems more of power related while yukari seems more technical related. so its a tie..

Yuuka is just noted to be much stronger than most of other youkai, but Yukari is called THE strongest youkai (hell, how many characters are specifically described as "easily having enough power to annihilate all of Gensokyou if she really wants it"?), and her ability is described as "without weaknessess" (the same as Flan's actually, not that Yuuka or anyone else can do anything against someone who can defeat them by just moving/squeezing a hand, maybe only someone really fast like Aya or Sakuya may be able to act before them).
Yukari aside, it's true that Yuuka is described as being physically overwhelming, but i doubt she is physically stronger than a vampire, even less than a oni.

If you play POV and you play though Yuuka's Story line, When she fights Shiki eiki Yuuka herself says before they fight let's see who the strongest in Gensokyo is. Also I believe that Flan's power works like a sniper rifle.
