Just a thought: if there is going to be a tag for every Pokemon, shouldn't they have their Japanese names (in accordance with the rest of the names on Danbooru)?

If we did that, we'd have to create alot of new aliases for people who never cared to learn their japanese names. Are you up for the work?

Hey, it's not my baby. If you feel that convenience outweighs consistency in this case, that's fine by me. I just thought it was a question worth posing. ;)

Yeah and it brings up my question if it's really worth creating tags for each pokemon uploaded, since there might be only one or two pictures per name tag.

I don't want to go creating a bunch of new character tags if it will be a problem.

If you know the Pokemon, there's no good reason not to tag 'em. There will come by some dude who wants to find all Psyduck images, so he types in "Psyduck". If he only finds 3 images because that's all we have, that's fine, but if he finds 0 images even though we have 3 of Psyduck, that's not fine. Remember what tags are for!

I'd say to either use the American names or make aliases (see the example above--no Pokemon fan's gonna search for Koduck).
