I know we distinguish between the two and I wouldn't say Samus is lactating, but I would say the metroid is doing that energy-sucking thing which is why I thought the feeding tag was more appropriate.

She spends a LOT of her time wearing a sealed suit and exploring steamy volcanoes, putrid swamps and dusty deserts. I can perfectly understand why she'd want to spend her private downtime wearing nothing at all. Especially if she's in her own spaceship where no people can see her.

I always find it strange when people depict Samus treating the metroid hatchling like a pet or child. Like I mean yeah we sure can tell how much she loved the little guy, the way she GAVE IT AWAY, IMMEDIATELY, to a research team..

I mean this's still cute. 's not bad, just weird.

Her career keeps her so busy that she doesn't have time for pets.

Also, Samus isn't an idiot, so even if she liked the metroid, she'd know that it's incredibly dangerous and needs to be contained.
