団長は心配性。

基本ＳＯＳ団マンガを描いている時は長みくはキョンハルの娘という心意気で描いてます。そして古泉は婿養子というつもりで描いてます。ＳＯＳ団は家族です。　◆コメントにタグ有難うございます！同意を有難うございます！長みくの可愛さは半端ないです。　そして長みくは滅多に組めないからこそ希少価値があります。

When I first read this, in the third panel I thought Kyon was the one objecting, and Haruhi was the one being annoyed.

Because... well when is that not the case?

It took me a while to realize Haruhi was the one against the idea.

"A duck carrying an onion" is a Japanese idiom meaning someone who's an easy mark. Someone just begging to be taken advantage of. Haruhi added the "slathered up with miso" part since these two together would be particularly easy to take advantage of.
