    出番手前の話は4コマにしようにも、普通に進行してて笑いにできなかったので割愛しました(^^;)

    I DO!! *RAISE HANDS*
So how many people sitting on their chair here at this moment raise their hands on the question? \(^o^)/

I do read his stuff, and I was surprised at how much people actually raised their hand in the room when this question was asked.

Gotta say I feel bad about not buying his stuff. And sadly, Kogasa-san didn't bring anything to sell at the con. I'm going to put that on my list of priorities.

Considering what went into bringing Mizuki-san over, the likelihood of people familiar with his work being at that panel goes way up, I'd say. Those who helped fund his attendance would surely be there, and anyone else on the shrinemaiden forum who read that topic would likely attend as well.

At this event, they explained Touhou's system and history, then introduced some game play. My turn came after that. I tried putting all the stuff before my turn into the strip, but I couldn't make it funny by progressing things normally, so I reluctantly skipped past that. (^^;)

Reader-added tags include "Tongue-Cut Sparrow: 'Dark Brown Kogasa and White Kogasa'", "You're sure popular, Kogasa-san" and "Colombia".

The poll asks for follow-up actions:

What should we do with Kogasa's angel and devil?
    • Angel x Devil
    • Devil x Angel
    • Full-submissive angel
    • Full-submissive devil
    • Full-submissive Kogasa

...Wouldn't the first two be the same thing? 8*5 is the same as 5*8, after all...

Full-submissive Kogasa with Angel and Devil doing this and that to her would be interesting.

No, it's not. Let's put it this way.

    Dominant x Submissive = Giver x Taker = Seme x Uke

First slot does this and that to second slot. Second slot is toyed with either nicely or... Well, that's the gist of it.

I was so ready to purchase one everything he could have brought too, that's why I asked if he had any merchandise there.

I was ALWAYS confused at the ordering of that. Thank you for clearing that up Rukaroa.

I think there were only two or three people in the room who didn't raise their hands, and I think that's only because they didn't hear the question. If Mizuki brought some of his work along, I would have also been in line to buy something from him. If there's an easy way for him to bring stuff over here, I hope he does the next time. He'd probably sell out.

As for the poll, there is only one answer: Full submissive Kogasa (sorry, Kogasa-san).

Rukaroa: ...What symbol is used for parity in the relationship, then?

I thought the x was a multiplication symbol to signify the idea of "more than the sum of the parts"...

"x", or "cross", reads the same as "insert" in Chinese, making it easy for me to remember

Well, dot products (·) are commutative, unlike cross products (×).

Hokay, bit of a late post, but since Mizuki-san had to skip over a large part of the panel, here they are in the flesh:

Part #2, whereupon Kilga is guilty of tengu self-promotion: http://youtu.be/F2kuHzo6Cfg
Part #3, whereupon we get edumacated: http://youtu.be/4Jfznr-p29Y
Part #4, whereupon presentation shenanigans occur: http://youtu.be/v3tPFjCtOjs
    Part #5, whereupon Mizuki-san speaks!: http://youtu.be/NRIeuQ504FU

Dot products? Cross products? I've never heard the terms before. Do they come from a branch of Boolean logic, or elsewhere?

They're used as operators on matrices. It's like this, see:

you have a set of equations, say
    2x + 3y = 5
    x - y = 3

    ...and so on (or not)
You can express these as a matrix:
    (2 3 | 5
    1 -1| 3)

    ...
You of course get different matrices if you have different input, but as long as they all use the same variables (here, x and y) you can perform various operations on them, usually because you want to condense them into a more manageable size.

Dot product and cross product are two of those operations, though they're usually seen in geometric contexts, as any equation describes a curve and vice versa.

How they actually are used would take too much for a single comment to explain.

They're from Algebra. The short of it is that they're two ways you can "multiply" vectors... dot product will get you a single number (which will be the same regardless of order), cross product will get you a third vector perpendicular to the first two (which will point up or down depending on the order).
