I laughed at that.
But really, as an American, we prefer a lot of our foods processed so far that we can't recognize them. I get positively freaked out when I see a shrimp before its head is pulled out.
The "takoyaki" that Luhi was selling later in the series looked like octopus, tasted good, and apparently had no harmful aftereffects, so why bother getting too worked up about it?
