I suspected blowing off some steam, refreshed, turns out that was the case.

For the record, we remembered less than 24 hours before his flight departed that even though Japan's a part of the USA's visa waiver program, he still needed to apply for an ESTA.

If he did a strip on the passport, I wouldn't be surprised to see a strip on that.

Well, I was going to go there anyway. :-) This is why you should go AFTER checking into that sort of thing.

In other words, I'm back in Japan. I've received a once-in-a-lifetime experience this time. I truly enjoyed myself. Guess I should probably draw about it in this strip too, huh.

By the way, I completed this strip, #502, right near the northbound International Date Line. I engaged in some cat-and-mouse play as we advanced southwest right on the verge of the date changing.

Only that in our place, the offices are always full with immigrants applying for legal IDs. I know, I've been there - and it sucks having to wait in queue only to be told that the counter's closing.
