topic #6886 contains information concerning the difference between sportswear and sports_uniform

Maid I am unsure about, since it technically goes over the position rather than the clothing itself (which is what enmaided does but is implicated to maid)

We use nurse and waitress (without the "uniform" in the tag). The tag does cover their uniform, not their job (we wouldn't tag a "maid" if she's canonically a maid but not dressed like one). I wouldn't include waitress (or waiter) in employee_uniform as it tends to be a different kind of visual.

uniform looks like a very generalized tag, but I'm unsure how broad we should make it. Frankly I feel like leaving out school_uniform, maid, waitress, and gym_uniform.

well if implication is that it's a job and not necessarily a cosplay, I think most implication here is okay, imo.

The implication is generalizing the fact that none of these would be cosplay. And the fact that the clothing itself is set of clothes used during the specified activity is what defines uniform.

I personally can't see why waitress / waiter can't have employee_uniform implication, following the logic mentioned above. Though employee_uniform tag itself seems to be a bit of messy idea, but that topic doesn't belong here imo.
