Might something like mashiroke_yoye (note the sh) be better than what we currently have?

According to the artist's circle page, よぇ is spelled as "Yoye".
It seems that 眞白ヶよぇ (Mashiroke Yoye) is the artist's old name. (S)he is currently referring to himself/herself as "よぇ".

The same foes for Tubane - koto_tsubane (ts-), perhaps?

ツバネ (Tsubane) or 古都 鍔音 (Koto Tsubane).

Thanks a lot, Henmere.

Should we not go with a direct romanization (Yoe) anyway, following board policy?

Whichever spelling we choose, that is very short to be an unambiguous tag and remain so. Is Lolipop Boys the circle name?

The character is ”, not "". This extended hiragana defies correct romanization.

"LOLIPOP BOYS" is the artist's clan in Call of Duty XBOX360. The doujin circle name is "pastel white".
So, yoe_(pastel_white) or yoye_(pastel_white).

(A continuation to my earlier questions about Koto Tsubane and Yoye:)

As far as I understand Danbooru's romanization policy, the goal is to track down original Japanese names when available and then romanize them. ("[T]here are still many tags that are not compliant with the guidelines. If you spot any poorly romanized tags, please post a message in the forum.") Most of the time, this works pretty smoothly for fictional characters, but how about artists whose real names are unavailable?

For example, my intuition told me that we should have "Romu Sen" and "Shimoshi" instead of rom_sen and simosi, respectively. But have they ever used kanji or kana spellings we could romanize like that?

Simosi's artist page does tell us that (s)he has been known as シモシ, too. Rom Sen's artist page has no similar indication.

As I only know some basics of Japanese, investigating further would require a lot of time.

Also, if we go with romu_sen and shimoshi, how about adding circle names to the tags?
