Quick question. Is this how the game actually looks? I would love to give it a try sadly my broke a$$ is poor.

Mostly. The game has a low-poly pixelated aesthetic like a PS1 videogame (it even has an option to simulate a crt screen) survival horror that has a top down isometric view (with occasional first person segments).
The steam summer sale is going to be rather soon I think, so I'd recommend buying it then (The game goes on sale every now and again). I'd also recommend trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, since the story is very intriguing (And very, very confusing. Really, the only way to explain the story is to experience it yourself and come up with your own interpretation).

With each generation that has a "human", always end up asking later "They are human right?"

I'm still convinced there are no humans in EN branch and very few in JP.

There are two humans in JP and EN combined Suabrua and...Ame maybe

I write Ame as essentially being time displaced to the point where she doesnt age and cant die. Like, stab her and suddenly she just fractures in time and appears having dodged your blade, shoot her and suddenly she appears on the other side of you having never been where you were aiming. Just and absolute monster that was once human.

You people feel even a slightest bit ridiculous discussing "lore" and "superpowers" of vtubers? This is akin to a bunch of children playing pretend in the playground, except these children are 30-40 years old. They are told to put on this show by the Hololive marketing department. Instead of just being normal streamers with Live2D avatars, they are more akin to actors in a sitcom. And it's not like they are a part of some narrative, like a manga, game, etc., this is literally meaningless because they don't actually have these powers.

No fucking shit the people behind the characters aren't actually the characters. People aren't discussing the streamers but their characters. By your logic debating the lore and powers of any movie character is meaningless because none of it applies to the actor.

Not really. Difference is Vtubers never really make use of their powers and their informed powers aren't really relevant to who they are or what they do.
Holopromise can be the literal embodiment of time, space, nature, civilization, whatever, but it doesn't mean they're gonna play any games or sing differently than someone like Miko or Aqua, who lore wise are just normal human beings. Their lore is largely irrelevant since most of the time, you're not gonna see COVER do anything with it.
It's different than characters like superheroes whose powers are baked into their identities and how they actually interact with the world.

But for all it's worth, I think powerscaling, be it of Vtubers, superheroes or whatever, are okay as long as everyone agrees it's meant to be taken in good fun and not too seriously.
Problem is it all too often devolves into "my character can beat your character therefore they're just better written" which is indeed the 30-40 years old's version of "my dad can beat your dad" argument.
Doubly so when characters' power levels in canon are inconsistent as hell, but people will throw around numbers as if every writers strictly abide by those calculations in their stories when they clearly do not so trying to be sweaty about it is just stupid.

Like azurelorochi below said, their "powers" have nothing to do with the streams, they're not gonna perform their streamer functions differently because of all the lore that's been created for them. Moreover, I think the entire lore and superpowers is entirely a marketing ploy to entice the audience with the illusion - illusion that there is more going on than pretty digital ladies playing games while making funny noises. There is nothing genuine about vtubers. We know this because we saw how Hololive reacts whenever something real about the person behind vtuber persona becomes known to the audience.

I just don't think that a 4 billion year old being that is the embodiment of nature would act in any way like a normal, everyday human. A creature like that would be incomprehensible to us. That's just one example.

There is nothing wrong with putting on a show when the show is the whole purpose. But Hololive's purpose is streaming. Streaming makes the "lore" irrelevant, while people's investment in the characters makes the streaming irrelevant. They might as well can the whole thing and just make an animated series about Hololive characters. That would make a lot more sense. (But then they'll run into the problem of the series being impossible to write because everyone is overpowered in a multitude of ways, meaning they can never have any stakes, meaning they will be forces to write a Slice of Life comedy about nigh-omnipotent beings and their daily mishaps)

Like how Danbooru uses original, on Pixiv it's supposed to be any work that doesn't take any elements from existing copyrights.

This is false. It has nothing to do with copyrights on Pixiv:

"Original (オリジナル) is a tag used to define works that are done, and created originally without taking any derivative elements from any existing works."

The opposite of Pixiv's "Original" tag would basically be the "derivative work" tag here. I used to upload my own art to Pixiv and it was required to choose this for anything that wasn't photo-referenced, a variation on someone else's work, etc.

The unabashed confidence of someone with no idea what they're talking about.

    Original's Pixipedia said:

Original (オリジナル, orijinaru) as a tag is for illustrations with content that is entirely created by the artist; specifically not related to any established fictional or non-fictional content.

Do not use this tag for any sort of derivative works. Fanart, parody art, and fan characters related to an established franchise (e.g. Sonic the Hedgehog, Harry Potter, Pokémon, etc. fan characters) should NOT have this tag. In any of the above instances, use the tag related to the franchise in question so as to help better group the image with related fan works.

Original is 100% a copyright tag. It's the difference between fanart and original creations. Maybe don't stop at the very first line, which you misinterpreted, if you're gonna quote something.
