Just curious, how's Chinese pronouncing Japanese name? Using Japanese or Chinese pronunciation? And from what I see, the writing is also a bit different, like 風 with 风

If its written in kanji, they pronounce them like hanzi equivalent. 风 is simplified of 風. The simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese, in case you don't know.

They keep the same writing if it's not too difficult to write the word, if it is, they replace the word with simplified hanzi. And they pronounce it how they pronounce the hanzi.

As the comments above have stated, if the words are in kanji they're usually pronounced as hanzi. For example, 鹿岛 when pronounced in Japanese is Kashima while in Chinese it's Lu Dao. However, if the name is in hiragana, it really depends on the translators. For example 一色いろは from Oregairu, they usually will pick kanjis with the same pronunciation like 一色彩羽 or 一色伊呂波 and pronounce it as if they're hanzi.
Wait... the artist might have messed up. Nowaki was sunk by cruiser and destroyer gunnery while retreating from the Battle off Samar, Maikaze was sunk by the New Jersey in the Raid on Truk.

The artist is in fact including Nowaki due to Iowa chasing her down and firing some of the longest straddles in history at Nowaki. Those moments were most likely very terrifying for Nowaki until the USN BB's decided to just let her go.
Here's a little comparsion.
Warspite vs Guilio Cesare - 26,000 yards (14.7 miles, 23.7 km) Scharnhorst vs HMS Glorious 26,465 yards (15 miles, 24.1 km)
Iowa vs Nowaki, 39,000 yards (22.1 miles, 35.6 km)
Nowaki being a much smaller ship than either Glorious and Guilio, to be able to straddle at such distances is nothing to sneeze at.

There is supposed to be a report that states a man was killed and several wounded by fragments from a near miss (the BB were firing HE which would detonate on impact with the surface most of the time)so yeah those shells were landing fucking close.
