I don't think they will. The girls located a ruined building (I wonder if Gensokyo pulls forgotten buildings too) and are repurposing it to an arcade.
Two things I love about Chihiro's doujinshis: 1)the attention given to the scenery; 2) when there's not an incident to be resolved (as with the SDM doujinshis), the characters have some kind of novelty plan and are in the process of implementing it. Contrast with doujinshi where the characters are absorbed in their routine activities (Sanae sweeps the shrine grounds, Marisa steals things, etc).
These two things contribute to make Chihiro's stories and characters feel much more alive than your average doujinshi.
Did you have a boyfriend or anything, back in the outside world?So......even if these machines don't work anymore, at least... we can do this as a memorial for them....You're awake, Nitori?Yes.S'that right...?...and still be alone and forgotten, even here... doesn't it make you sad for it?Wha--To drift into Gensokyo like this...I don't know what game centers were like back then, but...I've been awake the whole time!Huuuh?!N-- No, I didn't! Why are you asking about that out of the blue?!...Hey, Sanae...Reeeeally? Sounds pretty suspicious. What about you, Marisa?
