yin yang

A circular symbol consisting of a white and black droplet; a tomoe. In Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang represent opposite but complementary qualities (Balance).

Yin represents a dark, negative, feminine figure, and Yang symbolizes a positive, light, masculine figure.
