yabi fashion
A Chinese youth subculture associated with the underground music scene that arose in the late 2010s, borrowing heavily from Y2K fashion and streetwear. Yabi literally means "subculture bitch", and is a rebellious movement emphasizing personal expression.
It has an eclectic and maximalist appearance, and is primarily based in the deconstruction and reappropriation of existing styles into something different.
