warrior
Someone engaged in or experienced in warfare and fighting. Often clad in bits of armor and drawn with a melee weapon, typically heavy sword or large axe. Can also be applied to a Character Class in various different RPG series.
While the definition is similar to "soldier", the "warrior" tag should be applied to characters with a less "professional" appearance (i.e. no uniforms), and restricted to ancient or medieval era combatants.
