Wahoo is depicted with either light brown hair or grey hair and grey eyes, a hair ornament with her hull number "238", and red and blue partially fingerless gloves on her hands. Like her sisters, Wahoo wears a two-tone black and white high-leg competition swimsuit with black rudder footwear, though Wahoo personalizes with a white scarf and an American flag print denim miniskirt. Her base form carries only the same torpedo launcher rigging as her sisters.
Wahoo's Kai form, however, gains additional touches as a nod to her status as one of the most successful submarines of the Pacific War. She slings an Oerlikon 20mm Gun behind her rigging, and decorates her scarf with Japanese flag kill markings and the words, "Shoot the Sunza Bitches".
