waffen-ss
The combat branch of the Nazi Party's paramilitary Schutzstaffel (SS) organization. Heinrich Himmler, Josef Mengele and Michael Wittmann were some of the prominent members.
Generally recognized by the all black uniform worn by the officers, consists of a predominantly black jacket, peaked cap, necktie, pants and boots, despite most units not wearing the iconic black SS uniform outside of Germany. Instead they and the soldiers wore the similar field grey military uniform of the Wehrmacht. Pay attention to the specific insignia. The Nazi party armband may also be included.
Do not use for fictional uniforms or outfits modelled after the SS uniform.
