united states medal of honor
The United States Military's most prestigious military decoration, awarded to service members who have distinguished themselves by acts of valor. The medal has different designs for the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and had a different design when it was first introduced during the American Civil War (as a much less prestigious award), but they all qualify for this tag.
The Medal of Honor is most frequently seen worn on the left arm of Johnston of Kantai Collection, as a reference to the medal awarded to the historical vessel's captain.
