uchiage hanabi shita kara miru ka? yoko kara miru ka?
Literally Fireworks, Should We See Them From the Bottom or the Side?. A 1993 made-for-television live action film by Iwai Shunji. The story focused on a group of students going out to watch the fireworks, while another boy in their group, Norimichi, gets called to run away with fellow schoolmate and secret crush Nazuna.
The film was given an animated remake in 2017 by SHAFT, directed by Shinbo Akiyuki and Takeuchi Noboyuki. DAOKO was the singer for the theme "Uchiage Hanabi". Fuugetsu Makoto adapted the film into a manga in June of the same year. Localized in English as Fireworks.
