type 88 lmg
The QJY-88, also known as the Type 88 LMG (88式通用机枪) is a Chinese light machine gun designed in the late 1980s by China North Industries Corporation (Norinco). It is chambered in the 5.8×42mm DBP87 intermediate cartridge.
It visually resembles the Soviet PKM, but with a smaller, trapezoidal hole on the buttstock, a one-piece straight handguard with vertical ribs, and usually comes in all-black finish.
