torifune (touhou)
A Japanese space station in the Outside World that made its appearance in Trojan Green Asteroid and serves as its setting. The station was designed as a self-contained ecosystem to gather data for terraforming parts of Earth. Control of the station was lost a few years before the events of TGA, and contact with the station has not been made with since then. A knowledge lost to all but Usami Renko and Maribel Hearn, the station's interior has become an overgrown jungle, while some of its animal species have mutated into chimerae.
The station was named after Ame-no-Torifune, resembling Noah's Ark.
