Animated film by Illumination based on Super Mario Galaxy and the broader Mario series. Serves as the sequel to 2023's The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Releases on April 1, 2026 in the United States with a later Japanese showing on April 24, 2026.
So far, it has grossed US$629 million at the box office against a US$110 million budget despite generally negative reviews from critics which, like the first film, are being offset by positive audience response.
