tem ray's circuit

A fictional electronic device from the Gundam series. It first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam from 1979.

It is a technological gadget created by Tem Ray intended to enhance the abilities of any mobile suit. It does not work properly, as Tem was already brain damaged while developing it. It is the subject of many memes in Japan, and is often featured as an optional part in the Super Robot Wars series where equipping it to a unit causes mostly detrimental effects. In Gundam GQuuuuuuX, an Installer Key that unlocks the ability for civilian mobile suits to use military weapons resembles Tem Ray's Circuit.
