takuma sakazaki

A character in the Ryuuko no Ken and The King of Fighters series.

He is the founder and grandmaster of Kyokugen-ryuu Karate, inventor of the Haou Shoukou Ken technique. He is the father of two children - elder son Ryou Sakazaki and younger daughter Yuri Sakazaki. He is a widower, his wife Ronnet having died in a car accident while Ryo and Yuri were young in an act of foul play orchestrated by South Town crime lord Geese Howard.

He has an alter ego named Mr. Karate, who comes out when Takuma wears a tengu mask, a remnant of when he had to hide his identity while working under Geese. Everyone knows it's him, yet he still denies it.
