The daughter of Olga Gurlukovich, she was captured by the Patriots and used as a bargaining tool to ensure her assistance for Raiden during the Big Shell Incident.
Sunny was later rescued by Raiden and put into the care of Solid Snake and Hal Emmerich. She has since been formally adopted by the latter.
