strappy heels
High heels, sandals, wedges, platforms, or other high-heeled footwear that have ankle straps, ties, wraps, or ribbons around the ankle (and sometimes the calf).
Not to be confused with anklets or mary janes (which have a strap over the top of the foot, not the ankle).
