stand by me (1986)

1986 American live-action coming-of-age film.

Two scenes have gotten prominent focus in recreations. The first scene to do so is one where the four main characters walk along railroad tracks. Pokemon red/green/blue/yellow featured a reference where this scene was playing on the tv in the the player character's home; since then, it's been referenced multiple times throughout the series, including in the music video Gotcha!

A different scene from the movie was referenced in the opening animation of Lycoris Recoil (post #5514165), which prompted more anime-related parodies of the scene.
