space shuttle discovery
The fourth orbiter (third operational) constructed for the Space Shuttle program operated by NASA. It made it's maiden flight in 1984 and was retired in 2011.
It currently resides at the Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Virginia.
