A semi-automatic handgun manufactured by Smith & Wesson, available in both 9x19 Parabellum and 7.65x21 Parabellum.

The Model 59 was originally designed for use in the United States navy, and developed by taking the design of the existing Model 39 and adapting it to utilize a 14-round double-stack magazine.
