shrek (series)
A series of 3D animated films developed by DreamWorks Animation, based on a book by William Steig. The movies focus on the troubles of the titular ogre and his companions while parodying children's fairy tales, especially Disney's adaptations. In the mid-late 2010s, Shrek would see resurgence as a recurring internet meme.
