crossed fingers
A hand gesture in which the index and middle fingers on one hand are crossed, like this: ๐ค.
Crossing one's fingers is used to wish for good luck. Alternatively, when the gesture is hidden behind the back, it indicates telling a white lie or breaking a promise.
Not to be confused with X fingers, when the index fingers of both hands are crossed to form an X, or with interlocked fingers, when the fingers of both hands are interlaced.
