shounan (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese escort ship Shounan. Character design by Shibafu.
She is portrayed with short black hair with twintails, and purple eyes. Her default (and only) outfit is the Shibafu-design Ukuru-class uniform: a white sailor dress with blue sailor collar, white sailor hat, white socks, and grey shoes.
Her rigging is shared with her sisters: a handheld 12 cm single gun, depth charges on thigh straps, and her aft hull (includes depth charge throwers, mast, Type 13 radar, funnel, bridge) to her back. She also carries a blue bag with her, containing additional depth charges.
She was named after Singapore under Japanese occupation.
