shoukaku kai ni (kancolle)
For her second remodels, Shoukaku has two forms that she can remodel between: standard CV Kai Ni at level 80, which can field the second highest number of planes with a balanced arrangement, and an armored carrier Form Kai Ni-A at level 88, which gives her better armor, the strongest potential firepower of all carriers and the ability to launch planes at moderate damage for the price of a lower plane count and higher maintenance costs.
These remodels are noted to be hypothetical since she was sunk in the Battle of the Philippine Sea (June 19, 1944) before she could receive upgrades, including catapults that were part of the class' original design (reflected in her requiring a prototype catapult item for the first remodel)
In both forms, she wears an improved version of her base outfit and rigging, with a different boot design (simple thighhighs with improved rudder footwear) as well as red tasuki. She is given a full-size yumi instead of the shorter bow she previously used.
For Kai Ni, she has a wooden flight deck and an uniformly red hairband. For Kai Ni - A, her flight deck is painted black and gains a tan hairband with a white stripe. Armor plating has been attached to her thighhighs. Across both forms, her aircraft catapult is prominently seen on the portside, while the fire control directors on her waist mounts are replaced with 12.7 mm twin DP mounts.
