shitajiki (medium)
A Japanese word for various types of materials placed under a sheet of paper for writing, either to prevent marking on the sheets below or to provide a better surface for writing; usually referred to as a "pencilboard" in English. They are often printed with official art and sold as tie-in merchandise to promote anime.
This tag is used for scans from pencilboards. For pencilboards in the image, use shitajiki (object).
