shinjuku (fate/grand order)

悪性隔絶魔境新宿

Pseudo-Singularity I: Quarantined Territory of Malice, Shinjuku

When you untangle all of history, something massive must fall by the wayside.
A scenario penned by discarded madness.
Half-forgotten myths from the turn of the century.
This Pseudo-Singularity is a murder case of unprecedented scale.
The perfect crime is set in motion.
Dance through the decadent streets, you phantoms.

The first pseudo-singularity in Fate/Grand Order, set in the Japanese ward of Shinjuku in 1999. After the events of the Solomon singularity, several demon pillars escaped and created subcategory singularities, resulting in the creation of Shinjuku (among others). Here the demon pillar Baal became able to fuse phantom spirits with heroic spirits due to the Counter Force being deactivated with its separation from human history, resulting in servants who wouldn't normally exist.

Released on the Japanese server on February 24, 2017 and on the NA server on February 24, 2019. It was adapted into a manga by Sasaki Shounen.

Upon release of Shinjuku (and the other pseudo-singularities), the true name of several new servants was initially hidden; however official Fate/Grand Order media would later forego keeping their true names hidden in promotional materials. Their aliases are listed below, but their true names are used on Danbooru for tagging.
