shade (hollow knight)
Character/enemy in Hollow Knight. It holds whatever money the player was carrying when they last died, functioning as the game's equivalent to Dark Souls's corpse run mechanic.
It resembles a version of the Knight with blank white eyes and is otherwise completely black. Its body below the head appears to be amorphous or vaporous.
Do not use this tag for pictures of Siblings. "Shade" refers to the Knight's void-form exclusively, it is not a "species" or a type of entity. Posts should only be tagged both Shade and Sibling when both are clearly present, and these posts should almost always be tagged spoilers.
