Minecraft alternate reality game (ARG) created and popularized by Minecraft Youtuber Wifies. A sequel that continues the story of the ARG was released on March 29th, 2026.
AveryTheMayo found a laptop in a storage locker with Minecraft preinstalled and a premade world. As he played in the world, he discovered a stripmine and an ominous book he did not write. He posts a video online asking for identification help. The video flashes a deciphered code for a Google Drive link that contains exploration footage of Avery mining and discovering a cave containing structures and generation that doesn't exist in Minecraft. As Avery continues to explore the cave, it leads into impossible, not naturally generating structures and terrain as he's pursued by an unknown presence.
