She is a recurring character in the Toaru Majutsu no Index series. She is an operative of Annihilatus, an organization of the Russian Orthodox Church that specializes in the hunting down of spirits that are not supposed to exist. Her form makes its appearance early in the series during the Angel Fall Arc, but her actual debut is seen much later on.
