Manga by Toriyama Akira, serialized in the year 2000. It follows the story of Beelzebub, who works with the local sheriff to search for a new water supply for the citizens of Sand Land.

In December 2022, the Sand Land Project was announced, consisting of both a CGI anime adaptation co-produced by Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga and Anima, and an action RPG game developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco. The anime adaptation first released as a movie in August 2023, before later getting extended in the form of a TV series in Spring 2024, while the game would be released around the same time as the end of the series. The anime and the game each extend past the events of the original manga (and movie), now referred to as the "Akuma no Ouji" arc, with the "Tenshi no Yuusha" arc, also written by Toriyama.
