Samuel Whitcomb Hyde (born April 16, 1985) is an American comedian and a co-founder of the sketch comedy group Million Dollar Extreme (MDE), alongside Nick Rochefort and Charls Carroll.
MDE gained notoriety on YouTube for their anti-comedy sketches and public pranks, such as trolling staged performances at conventions and comedy clubs that pushed social and moral boundaries and courted controversy. One noticeable prank from the group is Hyde's satirical TEDx talk titled the "2070 Paradigm Shift".
Hyde is the subject of various hoaxes on social media in response to the show's content, in which he is erroneously identified as the suspect in a number of major gun violence incidents across the United States and abroad since 2015.
