The criminal act of stealing from others with threats of violence, usually using weapons and/or verbal threats.
It can be applied to a location (bank, office) or a person (people walking the street, family in their home).

While circumstances may vary, the main motive has to be money, valuables, or property.

If the character in question is stealing from others in secret, use the tag burglar instead.
