riding sidesaddle

sidesaddle: a saddle for a woman; rider sits with both feet on the same side of the horse.

riding_sidesaddle: on or as if on a sidesaddle "she rode sidesaddle".

Generally this is where girls will be wearing a skirt and as such have both legs to one side of whatever they are riding.
