Return to Oz is a 1985 film by Disney made as a soft-sequel to the 1939 The Wizard Of Oz film, even licensing the Ruby Red Slippers (they were gray in the book) from MGM, it's an adaptation of the books The Marvelous Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz .
