The second entry of the Resident Evil series, developed by Capcom and released in 1998. A remake was released on 2019.

The game follows the story of Leon S. Kennedy, a rookie police officer on his first day of work, and Claire Redfield, who is searching for her missing brother Chris, both arriving and meeting for the first time at a zombie-infested Raccoon City.
