Red is the main protagonist from the Angry Birds series and is the leader of the Flock, the core group of birds fighting against the Bad Piggies.
As the very first bird in most Angry Birds games, Red serves as the mascot of the series and an icon in mobile gaming. Throughout the games, Red is generally rather weak and is the only bird along with Terence with no special abilities, though Terence is much stronger. In the Red's Mighty Feathers chapter, Red was given the ability to accelerate in any direction while mid-air once. This ability originally belongs to Chuck in Angry Birds Space.
Red is an average-sized, round red bird and is based on a Cardinal.
